The Private Life of the Gannets (sh. Privatni život bluna) je britanski kratki crno-bijeli dokumentarni film snimljen 1934. u režiji Juliana Huxleya. U njemu se prikazuje život kolonije bluna (Morus bassanus) na otočiću Grassholm, nedaleko od obale Walesa. Film je financirao znameniti producent Alexander Korda, a pomoć pri snimanju je pružila i britanska ratna mornarica. Film se ističe svojim "naučnim" pristupom, i u mnogo čemu ga se smatra uzorom za mnoge kasnije prirodoslovne dokumentarce. Postigao je i veliki uspjen kod kritike - žiri mu je odao priznanje na venecijanskoj Mostri 1935. godine, a 10. dodjeli Oscara 1938. godine je dobio Oscar za najbolji film od jedne role .[1]
