Bitka kod Midwaya) je američki kratki dokumentarni film snimljen 1942. godine u režiji Johna Forda koji se smatra jednim od najpoznatijih ostvarenja tog žanra napravljenih za vrijeme i posvećenih drugom svjetskom ratu. U njemu se prikazuje znamenita pomorska bitka kod Midwaya koja je predstavljala jednu od ratnih prekretnica. Film je u velikoj mjeri nastao sticajem okolnosti, odnosno zahvaljujući tome što je Forda, koji se prijavio u američku ratnu mornaricu kako bi bilježio njene aktivnosti na Pacifiku bitka zatekla na samom otoku Midway, koji je bio glavni japanski cilj. Film zato sadrži autentične scene japanskog bombardiranja koje je Ford snimio vlastitom kamerom te pri tome bio ranjen. Od tih materijala, kao i materijala koje su za vrijeme bitke snimili drugi mornarički snimatelji, Ford je napravio film kome je dodao naraciju hollywoodskih glumaca. Sljedeće godine je za svoj rad dobio Oscar za najbolji dokumentarni film koga je podijelio s još tri ratna dokumentarca (Prelude to War, Kokoda Front Line! i Moscow Strikes Back). Scene iz Fordovog filma su se kasnije često koristile u dokumentarnim filmovima i TV-serijama o drugom svjetskom ratu, a također 1976. i u igranom filmu Midway posvećenom bitci.
