Vientiane (Lao ວຽງຈັນ) adalah sebuah prefektur (kampheng nakhon) di Laos yang terletak di sebelah barat daya negara tersebut. Ibu kota Laos, Vientiane, berada di prefektur ini. Prefektur ini diciptakan pada tahun 1989 saat dipecah dari provinsi Vientiane.
