Horor lovecraftian, atau "horor kosmik"^[2] adalah subgenre fiksi horor dan fiksi aneh yang menekankan kengerian pada sesuatu yang tak diketahui dan tidak dapat dipahami^[3] alih-alih memanfaatkan gore atau elemen kejutan lainnya.^[4] Genre ini dinamai sesuai nama penulis Amerika H. P. Lovecraft (1890–1937). Karyanya menekankan tema ketakutan kosmik, pengetahuan terlarang dan berbahaya, kegilaan, pengaruh non-manusia pada kemanusiaan, agama dan takhayul, nasib dan keniscayaan, serta risiko yang terkait dengan penemuan ilmiah,^[5] yang sekarang dikaitkan dengan genre horor Lovecraftian.^[6] Tema kosmik horor Lovecraftian juga dapat ditemukan di media lain, terutama film horor, game horor dan komik horor.
