Mercury Rev on yhdysvaltalainen alternative rock -yhtye, joka perustettiin 1980-luvun lopulla Buffalossa, New Yorkissa. Alkuperäisessä kokoonpanossa olivat mukana: David Baker (laulu), Jonathan Donahue (laulu, kitara), Sean Mackowiak, aka ”Grasshopper” (kitarat, klarinetti), Suzanne Thorpe (huilu), Dave Fridmann (basso) ja Jimy Chambers (rummut).
