El Premio Grammy por Mejor Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album se otorgó desde 1991 hasta 2011. Originalmente, el premio fue para el southern gospel, sino los criterios se ampliaron en 1994. El nombre del premio ha cambiado varias veces:

• De 1991 a 1993 la concesión era conocida como el Mejor Álbum Gospel del Southern^[1]​^[2]​
• De 1994 a 1997 fue galardonado como el Mejor álbum gospel sureño, country o bluegrass^[3]​^[4]​
• Desde 1998 hasta 2011 fue reconocido como el mejor gospel álbum sureño, country o bluegrass^[5]​^[6]​
