Wonbah is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Wonbah had a population of 78 people.[1]

History

In 1887, 16,500 acres (6,700 ha) of land were resumed from the Wonbah pastoral run. The land was offered for selection for the establishment of small farms on 17 April 1887.[3]

Demographics

In the 2016 census, Wonbah had a population of 98 people.[4]

In the 2021 census, Wonbah had a population of 78 people.[1]

Education

There are no schools in Wonbah. The nearest primary school is in Mount Perry. The nearest secondary school is in Gin Gin.[5]
