AllMusic[1]

Ricky Sings Again is the third rock and roll album by Ricky Nelson, released in 1959. The Jordanaires provide vocal accompaniment.

The album made its first appearance on the Billboard Top LPs chart in the issue dated February 2 of that year and remained on the chart for 19 weeks, peaking at number 14.[2] The 3 singles from the album was "Lonesome Town" "It's Late", "Never Be Anyone Else But You", "Believe What You Say".

Reception

William Ruhlmann of AllMusic said that the album "showed [Nelson] "was having material written for him instead of having to fill up his LPs with covers of other people's hits, he hewed to the rockabilly sound developed by Elvis Presley and others in and around Memphis, TN. In particular, he had become a follower of Dorsey Burnette".[3]

Cashbox called it "uptempo and ballad beat".[4]
