Les Yveteaux (French pronunciation: [le.z‿ivto] ^ⓘ) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.

Geography

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Gare, Le Château,La Pierre Hurel and Les Yveteaux.^[3]

The commune borders the area known as Suisse Normande.^[4]

The Gué d'Arnettes stream is the only watercourse that runs through the commune.

Chateau of Ostieux a 15th Century Manor house registered as a Monument historique in 2005.^[5]
Chateau of Yveteaux a 17th Century chateau registered as a Monument historique in 1988.^[6] The Chateau belonged to French poet Jean Vauquelin de la Fresnaye.^[7]
