The district contains the hills Jabal al Maḩāriq, Jabal al Minjārah, Jabal al Qāhirī, Kabbat al Ḩamrā' and Kabbat al Manşabah, and the wadis Wādī al Mūsīyah, Wādī Kusr and Wādī Namir.
